Never Forget

A decade has passed since a great day of mourning.
Our country united, sent our nation's symbol soaring.
Those who died are written in history.
Those who caused it, written in infamy.
A Firefighter just doing his job, ran into the flames.
He never came out and a hero he became.
A Policeman followed the the fireman into the inferno;
Little did he know he would too become a hero.
The ones who gathered their courage to fight above the field;
Their hearts died fighting, they would not yield.
And at the Pentagon, the first soldiers died in this war
Those after them will never forget what they're fighting for.
NEVER FORGET...Never Forget...never forget
